Welcome to Oh Sew Perfect, an award winning small business focusing on providing a personal service to meet the client’s exact requirements. I provide a wide range of unique soft furnishings to your specification, HAND-made in my design studio in Methlick, Aberdeenshire.

I launched my business back in August 2012 after seven years of employment in the industry. Originally based at the family farm in Fisherford, I set up a workshop where I began building the business. I soon outgrew the space I had and in April 2015, I was lucky to move to a new larger studio in the village of Methlick, Aberdeenshire, where I remain today.

My routes for my passion and skill to create quality soft furnishings stem from a young age, always creative and precise with my favourite subject at school being art.

Over the years, I have established an excellent reputation for making beautiful soft furnishings which has seen me win two awards. ‘Best Home Improvement (Interiors) Business’ at the Trades Awards in 2015 and ‘Best Craft or Creative Business’ at The Scottish Business Awards for Aberdeen City & Shire in 2020.

I enjoy the challenge of using my creativity to come up with solutions for unusually shaped windows, taking into consideration both styling and practicality.

Seeing projects come to fruition from initial consultation right through to installation is a very rewarding process that I never tire of.
